The second technical workshop of the ReUseHeat Project took place in Madrid on 12 April 2018!
The workshop, dedicated to waste heat recovery from one of the Madrid hospitals, has been attended by 19 participants among ReUseHeat partners and external local stakeholders. Specifically the following stakeholders actively participated to the discussions: Danfoss Spain, GNF Servicios/Veolia, ENERES, IDAE and the Madrid Subterra Association.
The workshop has succeeded in transferring both:
- Insights about the ReUseHeat project and demonstrators to the external participants to promote the project concept and demonstrators replication;
- Results and lessons learnt coming from other EU projects and initiatives related to waste heat recovery in Europe, which GNF would take into account for the realisation of the Madrid demonstrator.
In addition, a technical session dedicated to ReUseHeat partners has taken place in the second part of the day during the demo-visit organised by GNF at Hospital La Paz. GNF together with GNF Servicios shown both the heating and cooling systems currently used to supply the hospital, explaining where and how the waste heat recovery system will be installed.
